WHY WOMEN’S MINISTRY?
We believe women are at the heart of community transformation.
In refugee settlements and post-war communities, many women carry stories of pain, loss, and survival—but also deep faith and resilience. Our Women’s Ministry exists to help them heal, discover their God-given identity, and rise with confidence as leaders, mothers, wives, and disciple-makers in their families, churches, and communities.

Our women’s ministry team has risen as survivors and servant-leaders.
Together, we walk alongside women with compassion and faith, guiding those facing shared struggles. We are mothers, mentors, and disciple-makers—sharing the hope of Christ in everyday life.

What we do
WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY GROUPS
Our women meet weekly in home-based Bible study groups to grow in faith, encourage one another, and find strength in God’s Word.
MONTHLY PRAYER MEETINGS
They gather monthly to intercede for their families, communities, and nation—believing that prayer brings healing and hope.
QUARTERLY DISCIPLESHIP & LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES
Every quarter, we host conferences designed to help women grow as followers of Jesus and as leaders in their families, churches, and communities. These gatherings strengthen their understanding of God’s Word, equip them to serve more effectively in ministry, and offer space to sharpen one another—just as Proverbs 27:17 reminds us:
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
ANNUAL WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP GATHERING
Once a year, we host the Women’s Annual Leadership Gathering, which brings together women leaders from different denominations and refugee camps. This is a sacred time for fellowship, learning, and encouragement. Women share testimonies, exchange ministry experiences, and build lasting networks of faith and support, reminding them they are not alone in this journey of transformation and disciple-making.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
We believe that empowering women spiritually must go hand-in-hand with equipping them economically.
Our programs help women gain practical skills, access resources, and create income-generating opportunities so they can support their families, contribute to their communities, and thrive independently.
Beyond spiritual growth, we equip women with tools to thrive economically. Through savings groups, business training, and life skills, women learn to manage resources, start small businesses, and provide for their families and children’s education.
Many of the women we serve have no education or source of income. We equip them to move from dependency to self-reliance. These skills help them provide for their families now and prepare them for the future—so that when they return home to South Sudan, they can rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
